Other than altering the browser's resolution (ie by zooming in) is there any way in which to make the preview images when uploading pictures to the gallery larger? At present it can be difficult to judge the differences between an original image and the adjusted one, so it would be helpful if say users could pop out a full sized version of the previews just so we can actually see what the final image will look like properly (if that's at all possible, I don't know what's actually stored on the server that point).

That's something that has bugged me from time to time as well.

I figured that it was a bandwidth/server processing power issue preventing larger previews.

If you mean the preview frame size that you see an image in, Lego has previously said increasing the size of that is on the to-do list. 800x600 just doesn't do it anymore.

edit: I now realize I misread your OP, sorry. Yeah, that would be nice, I think you're right.

Originally it was bandwidth and CPU related, but the recent server move has been a massive upgrade and improving this is on the todo list (though low on the priority list alas).
