True, the narrative is a big part of 7th edition. Really from what I see this is the ready made excuse for others to trash the fluff in the name of an interesting storyline (which we all know isn't really a part of most battles). That way it isn't GW doing to damage to the setting it's the players. If used correctly I could indeed see some interesting battles played out that follow a storyline, but the odds of this happening are slim to none. More than likely the new openness will just result in some ridiculous and game breaking scenarios. I for one will not be utilizing many of the new options available to my Marines that have no place in a loyalist army.

I don't mind the philosophy, I just hate how badly it impacts the readability of the rulebook by shoehorning them in every page.
