So I have a bunch of extra Librarians for my DA army and I wanted to get Ezekial as well. Any issues with me simply making one of those models Ezekial and painting him different, besides the fact that he won't look 100% like he should

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

No issue at all, so long as it's clear which one he is. In fact, the DA DV librarian and master seem meant to be used as Ezekiel and Azrael.

Yeah after buying the Azrael model I'm realizing that lol. Azrael is a pain the butt to work with as a metal model as I generally don't like them and the company masters look much cooler.
I actually prefer the look of the regular Librarian more so than Ezekiel so I think I'll just proxy and paint him all badass while the other Librarians will be more plain Automatically Appended Next Post: I have that interrogator Chaplain that came in the DV set, kinda wanna make him into Asmodai lol

Long as its clear, paint him up different, maybe bit of customised vs the original and your golden.
+ named characters deserve a bit of stand out ness, make them look a bit more fancy,

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

Yeah I've pretty much changed all the colors around lol. My DW terminators for instance are Emperors Children Pink and Magenta lol so I don't mind switching the colors around.
For Asmodai I was worried about the look of the weapon but Seraphicus's weapon looks similar if not the same so I will be using him as Asmodai.
Saves me $40 bucks on two models lol
Now all I need is Sammael

Yeah ima do it, thanks for the assist.
One more think on converting.
I have a couple Rhinos with extra bits from each other as well as the Razerback model I bought, how difficult would it be to mod the Rhinos into Razerbacks or vice versa should I ever need too?
Note, the doors on top are superglued on lol

If you look back, you are lost.
Anyways, yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about modelling up special characters to be exact replicas of the "official" model. All you're really trying to do is to prevent your opponent from feeling cheated because, surprise, that model was actually an ultra-badass that you didn't see coming that just wrecked your army.
If I saw a bunch of regular green space marines and you pointed to the large blue one with a cloak shooting fireballs out of his eyes while playing air-guitar as he strode over a pile of skulls and said "that's ezekiel, he's better than my normal dudes", I wouldn't give it a second thought, modelling-wise.

If anyone complains about Seraphicus having the wrong pistol for Asmodai simply point out that the original Asmodai miniature had the wrong armaments as well: in 3rd edition he had the Blades of Reason (fluffwise a knifey thing) and a Power Sword but no Crozius. The miniature was seemingly sculpted (in 2nd edition) to represent the Dark Angels other named Chaplain at the time: Grand Master Sapphon, who had a power sword and crozius by default.
