Yeah, we have two options, battle-forged and unbounded.

I could use the SOB+AM+inquistion army on 6th edition, cause inquistion didn't take the normal ally slot.

But I heard that in 7th edition, ally allowed only from one 'race'.

Then my previous army is not battle-forged army anymore?

Battle-forged armies can take any amount of normal FOC, so it is still completely legal and battleforged to add a single Inquisitor. Taking no troops in any FOC or 15 HQs would make it unbound.

Inquisition has its own detachment. Its just added in to the battle forged army just like any other detachment.

In 6th Edition you could take a Primary detachment of Sisters, an Allied detachment of Guard and an Inquisitorial detachment. You could then nominate either an HQ character with the highest leadership from the Sisters to be your warlord, or an HQ from the Inquisitorial detachment.

In 7th Edition you can take a Combined Armed detachment of Sisters, an Allied detachment of Guard and an Inquisitorial detachment. You can nominate any character from either the Sisters or Inquisitorial detachments to be your warlord. Which ever detachment you choose will become your primary detachment. If you choose the Sisters then you your Warlord is an 'Ideal Mission Commander' .

To know if you should play a Battle-Forged or an Unbound Inquisition list will come down to how many troop choices do you intend to bring in your other detachments. As it stands right now henchman war-bands will never benefit from being in a battle-forged list, and inquisitors will only benefit if they bring a couple squads of grey knights and leave the their relics and warlord traits at home.

And in fact, you can take a Combined Arms Sisters, a Combined Arms Astra, and an Inquisitorial detachment, and still be Battle-Forged. There's nothing preventing you from taking as many Combined Arms from as many codices as you wish.
