So I just did all my Terminators Magenta/Emperor's Children Pink a couple of weeks ago. My Tactical Marines are half Violet/Half Caliban Green (successor chapter for angels of redemption) and I have 15 inherited Grey Knights that are proxies for stuff that I haven't started using but are mephisto red.

They're all done, based, varnished.

Now I wanna change their colors.

I wanna have the entire chapter varying shades of purple/green depending on the unit. The Tactical Marines are fine as is so no problem there. But the Terminators I want to make a deep purple with highlights of green here and there and if I can somehow pull off a glowing effect on them that would be sweet.

First question. Has this ever happened to you guys; you finish a paint job and then once you're done you redo the entire thing.

Second question. How does one control this painting urge?

Nothing more fun than tabling an opponent

Yes, I have painted my sisters of battle army twice now.

Sometimes you just have to say 'it's done' and buy more minis

Yeah... My Dark Angels have been recoloured 3-4 times now... theyre currently purple. But I'm once again feeling the codex colours :/ havent got aorund to it, but I think theyre going in the drink oneday to be green again. :/ ahh well its saved me tonnes of money on purchasing new models to paint each time.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!

I just realised that I am going to magnetize my little busted tactical squad so I can easily take it apart and repaint.

Yes, yes, let the paint flow through you
