So yeah, I recently got a new phone with the Android OS on it and what I am looking for some good games for it.
I am a hardcore pc gamer (or atleast I consider myself to be) but oddly enough I dont know much about games for phones.
If possible I would like an RTS, RPG or something similar.
Preferably a game with no microtransactions or other heresy of this sort as they really annoy me, I would rather spend a few euro on a full game than have to use those.
I should add, I have a samsung galaxy s2.

Plague Inc. is pretty nice. It's a strategy game
League of Evil is awesome. It's a platformer.
Hard Time is pretty good, too. It's an action game.
I'll take a look if I've got some cool/good RTS or RPG games!

I've got Plague Inc. and it's pretty decent for a free game. You can pay to unlock everything early, but most of it is - allegedly - unlockable by playing the game.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Neuroshima Hex - board game translated to app. Get the demo and try it for free. The paid game adds 2 more armies and allows for 4 player games.
Plague Inc - ditto support for Plague.
What else are people playing?

Kingdom rush is pretty decent for a tower defence game. Rebuild is a decent zombie strategy game (its free and browser based on the PC so its easy enough to see if you like it).
I am currently waiting for King of Dragon Pass to be ported over to android. Its a strategy/text adventure hybrid that was originally a PC game in the late 90's (its on GoG if you want to buy it for the PC) although the IOS port supposedly has extra content which should be available for android as well.

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.
-Leman Russ, Meditations on Imperial Command book XVI (AKA the RT era White Dwarf Commpendium).
Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Border Siege is nice, basically Risk but more streamlined. The basic version is free and you pay a couple of quid to unlock more maps. The AI is pretty good and it supports single-device multilayer.
Frontline Commando is a pretty nice shooter. A tad repetitive, but quite fun in short doses. The base game is free, but you have to grind a bit to unlock upgrades for free.
Other than that, Temple Run, Angry Birds and Quizup are all free and fun.

The questions seem a little strange though (who was Hitlers' barber...wha?) and each category seems to have a limited question bank. It was fun for a while but not beyond that.

Yeah, it is a little obscure at times, and can get boring after a while, but for a bit of fun it's not bad. It's free, and can be a laugh, so there's nothing to lose.

Ravensword: Shadowlands is fun. $6.99 USD, I thought it was worth it.
Aralon: Sword and Shadow is fun as well.
