so long story short, jink gives vehicles a cover save, obscured gives vehicles a cover save, but only obscured specifies "and things that cause damage (such as graviton weapons)". so can skimmers jink vs graviton weapons?
also, can obscured vehicles save against failed dangerous terrain rolls? therefore can you jink them? it has the same wording as graviton and doesn't deny cover saves.
I'm thinking a KFF'd vehicle for obscured, so don't worry about whether the terrain can see it, it's always obscured.

I don't quite know if what you're asking?
Cover saves can always be taken against gravitation. I'm pretty sure jink is a type of cover save.
No coversaves can ever be taken against dangerous terrain. A KFF is also a type of cover save...

graviton weapons don't cause glancing or penetrating hits, they instead cause an immobilised result. no glance/pen, nothing to save against. however obscured specifies that obscured targets can save against attacks that do damage, such as graviton weapons. cover save doesn't say that. so obscured models can save it but jinks can't, by my reading.
which also implies that obscured models can save against dangerous terrain, as it's the exact same effect as graviton weapons and doesn't specify no cover saves, implying jink isn't meant to save against it by virtue of it not being a glancing/penning hit.

Good job the KFF rules state the vehicle counts as being Obscured

Isn't being obscured just permission to throw a cover save?
Where have you been given permission to save against dangerous terrain with a cover save?
Also, I know very little examples where obscured saving against dangerous terrain would happen. Where would you measure LOS from in order to determine if it's obscured? Or are you implying that they've written a rule that only grants the permission to a KFF written in 4th edition?
The rule for obscured seems better written for determing cover saves which is that if an attack is dealing damage to the vehicle then you get a cover save. If, however, it's something like markerlights then you don't.

Jink can be used against graviton, but not DT.
Read jink carefully, it specifically states it can be taken against Shooting attacks, it does not say it has to be a pen/glace/wound as these dont interact with jink.
