Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I started following this forum, yet never actually wrote anything, mainly beacuse of my job, but I must admit I'm a bit lazy.

Anyway, some of you might know me from other sites/forums, or from FB, I always use the same nickname.

I've been into the hobby since 1997 (bought my first minis around '95) and since then I've always been a Chaos follower, collected most of old Chaos (Mortals,
Beasts and Daemons) from 5th edition WHFB, and Chaos Space Marines. At the moment I own a huge amount of miniatures, mostly unpainted, as I said I'm lazy,
but I do tend to rapaint my armies as I get better (leaving only few models to remmeber where did I start from).
Of all the Chaos armies my favourite have always been the Beastmen, and the mojority of models I own belong to that army. Besides regular armies, I love themed
armies so I have started several long term projects such as Throgg's Monstruous Horde, or Norscan bearmen of Urslo army...

Recently I started my first non-chaotic army: the 40k Orks, because a frind showed me his collection and I just fell in love with them...
And I did not resist so I started a Mechanicum Army for HH...

Anyway this was pretty much the important things about me, and here to follow some of my latest works, from my different armies, hope you like them and if you
have any questions (scultping/paiting) just feel free to ask... You might have to wait a bit, but I promise I'll try to answer all of your questions...

Eventually I'll discuss both BGs and concepts behind my models/armies but if you have questions...

WHFB

WARRIORS OF CHAOS: NURGLE'S GARDEN

My personal version of a Nurgle's Deamon Prince - Lord Pollex the Master Gardener of Nurgle, the one who takes care of it while papa Nurgle
unleashes his plagues on the world. I sculpted this model from green stuff, took it to Italian Golden Deamon last year but didn't win anything (it was my first time)

WARRIORS OF CHAOS: THROGG'S HORDE

I sculpted this guy before GW came up with it's one model. Although I like that mini, I find it a bit too super-heroish so I'm glad I made Throgg a bit more deformed...

BEASTMEN/WARRIORS OF CHAOS: BEARMEN OF URSLO (based on the Dogs of War from 5th)

My personal version of Beorg 8counts as Throgg or Doombull) This is also sculpted from 0. (still a WIP but almost there)

BEASTMEN

My beastmen are too many to be rapresented by a single model, so I'll post the last one. I've been working recently on all the missing special characters from the book, and so the last I sculpted and started paiting was Thaurox the Brass Bull

WH40k

CHAOS SPACE MARINES: DESTROYER HIVE

I love Nurgle... and I love Typhus, yet the original model (that I love) wasn't cool enough anymore, if you consider moern standards so I made mine... i started froma regular terminator and sculpted the rest... This guy went to the Italian Golden Deamon too... but as before didn't win anything

ORKS: THE DEMORKRATIK REPUBLIK OF ORKOPIA

I love orkish humor, so I decided I wanted a Blood Axes army based on military regimes from XXth century, with big hats, uniforms, badaXX titles and so on... So Orkopia was born, where "All Orks Is Equal, But Some Orks Are More Equal Dan Uvvas" led by a might "brutally cunning" (or cunningly brutal) warlord, Mega-Prezident, Arch-Marshal of da Waagh Yozzik da' Kunnin', an old warboss, uncommonly intelligent.

HORUS HERESY: ADEPTUS MECHANICUM

Well not that much to say... I LOVE the mechanicum, always have, and finally I get a chance to field an entire force of them... I wanted my army to fit with my Death Guard, yet I liked the idea of an army following an Archmagos of the Prefecture Magisterium, some kind of Lord Judge... 8still working on the guy)

Well I think that's it for the beginning... Thanks

Your work is amazing. I would absolutely love to see more!

People sometimes don't understand just how difficult it is to paint plagued themed models. Obtaining all the color variations and nuances of rotten organic matter, without it looking like a mess of unorganized colors, is incredibly difficult. You nailed it. It is absolutely brilliant!

Thanks guys I'm glad you like them!

@Chootum: you're right. Paiting a messy decomposing body is a bit harder tan it might seem. I mean you can still obtain a nice effect even by massing a round but if you want something abit more "exciting" then you need to plan your work well...

Since you asked more here are some other works, mostly random ones and commissioned ones (i made some minis for tothers but it's rare)

Thanks guys... My efforts on Horus Heresy continues. I'm almost done with the bile-gore-splatter tutorial, however today I'm presenting you my personal Death Guard Praetor.

I wanted a praetor that is trully a DG memeber, so the FW was not good, although I do have the original model. I decided to give him a sinister look, a true war veteran (so damaged armor, since DG doesn't use decorations) and more than enything else, I wanted to show the chem-war doctrine of the this particular Ligion... I hope you like him

Hi there again it's been a while since I last posted, so let's get back tot he last projects I posted:

First of all I manged to finish the Archmagos:

I had some free time to do some test-paiting for my Wh40k Orks (the DemOrktatik Republikk of Orkopia) so I took a few boyz and tested a colour scheme.
Finally I found a nice one that I can change a bit in order to make the different units stand out.

Evry unit will have an officer (nob) the under-boss (a random boy waiting for promotion), a dok and a kommunikation boy

As you can see oe of the boyz has differnt pants, and if you look at his shoulder pads they are bit differnt than those of the other two (he is the under-boss)

Anyway back to my WHFB projects... SO as may of here I got trapped into this nice End Times madness, so I took back my beastmen and other chaos models and started working on them.
As you might know beastmen are my favorite army and my first-love, and as a huge Nurgle fan, I finally can field again my beast of nurgle...

So most of things you'll se from now are beastmen (chaos legions) nurgle things. But before that here is an old model, finally re-painted and re-based on a more suitable base, and still Chaos Legion related (I use him as a Doombull/Throgg in my Bearmen of Urslo army-a beastmen army till now, and Chaos Legion army from now)

I'm very proud of this guy, the only sad thing is that it takes a huge effort to convert the whole army to look like a norscan bearmen one... so it's gonna take me many more months of work.

I did make also a random Minotaur Hero for my beasts before Glottkin came out, so I didn't know marks were back:

So now back to beastmen: well I took my old pestigors, remeber those fantastic old metal models, ad I dumptem into detol, so I can re-paint them. In the same time I bought some more trolls (I think I've bough something like 60 river trolls in the last 4 years ) and minotaurs and started building my nurgle-minitrolls

So I'm going back and forth from painitng and sculpting things, but this new chapter of my hobby life, starts with a new lord character: a Nurgle Doombull...

Mind blowing and making me want to go home and model!

id love to see a tutorial on anything you do! Although, the icing on the cake would be you recording yourself modelling or painting, then simply speeding it up. I think people could learn so much simply by watching your work unfold I know I would!
