Hi I have started collecting Dark Eldar I have got the battle force box which contains a raider, 3 reavers, 10 wyches and 10 Kabalite warriors and a box of 10 kabalite warriors I got them off my boyfriend I really do need to strengthen it up especially as the main armies I will be facing are Eldar, Imperial, Adapta Soriritus, Tao, Orks and ironically Chaos so anyone have any tips as to which stuff is a priority to get first? :S

You are part of a mystical, alien race. You bend the magic of the warp to be used in battle. The eldar are commanded by powerful, mystical leaders called farseers. You favour powerful heroes and stealthy units but if it goes wrong you have your powerful tanks. |

Ravagers are very nice to have for anti tank support

Venoms and ravagers are pretty much a mainstay in most DE lists.

Just started delving into wracks, groteques and haemunculi with Urien Rakarth. They're tons of fun. I used to run sole Kabalite lists. Also, the beast pack is pretty insane.

Warning From Magnus? Not Listening!

The starter force is actually a pretty nice start to a kabal DE army. Typically you'll see DE armies with some combination of these:
Warriors in Raiders with splinter racks
Wyches with haywire in venoms
Groups of 3/6 reavers
Beastpack
Ravagers
I personally also like running Haem lists: haemonculi, Urien, wracks and grotesques in raiders, and a maxed out beast pack.
It's an army that is in your opponent's face turn 1 and either slaughters everything in combat or dies spectacularly.

And if Ravagers aren't enough you can always settle for one of these bad boys. I've found the Reaper to be quite effective! It's a full kit so you get a Raider plastic kit as well as the parts to convert it to one of these. A word of advice if you do fork out for one is, when putting the sail on, snip the plug off and use a bit of brass rod or thick wire to the vehicle. The resin simply isn't strong enough!

The starter box is fantastic value and extremely useful in the case of a Kabalite Dark Eldar army.
I would suggest the following if you're going to use all the contents of the box plus additional bits:
Raider with night shields and splinter racks
Transporting x9 kabalites and Sliscus
(This unit will will be able to get in close and fire a lot of re-rollable poisoned shots that wound on a +3 thanks to Sliscus)
Raider with nightshields
Transporting x9 wyches and Haemonculus armed with liquifier
(This unit can reach it's objective as less of a target - nightshields reduces enemy range by 6' to hit it.
(Haemonculus gives the wyches a pain token for a 5+ FNP which they need to be effective. Haemonculus sits on raider firing template liquifier)
(Thanks to Sliscus, the wyches can roll twice on the combat drugs chart and choose the most useful)
Venoms are great with a squad of Trueborn (x3) armed with blasters.
Sliscus allows them to deep strike along with your raiders if you desire (for free! no retrofire jets taxation for you!)
Reavers are good in larger squads - I tend to fly them at maximum speed and just bladevane things - I only use them for taking out armour (blasters/lances) occasionally when there is an opportunity - use them to harass and fly behind terrain in between each pass
Void Raven Bomber - 7th allows you to fire all your missiles in one go - can cause absolute carnage with a little bit of luck. Quite good at flyer and vehicle killing too
Hope this was in some way useful
- Wulfmar

I can fully agree with Wulfmar, as I have begun an army list which is almost identical to this one, and am planning to expand further asap
