A friend of mine is painting up my Japanese. Just an above average job but I am very pleased with them. Still more to go such as machine gun positions and so on but here they are so far.

Hope you like them.

Very nice work. I still can't get past the Japanese armor camo. Just can't stand the look. Not that they are painted poorly. They look great I just don't care for the scheme they used back then.

Unfortunately I love impractical military stuff (hence why I have bright red praetorians and a Japanese force etc) So it really appeals to me. When put in the environment it doesnt look too bad though. On the green mat it looks a bit odd.

Thanks though man, I will pass on your comment to the guy who painted them.

I love the command squad with the explosion on the base. I'll have to steal that idea for my Afrika Korps

That's a funny story actually.

I got my girlfriend to pack my models while I was at work and she usually does a good job too. But she dropped the box and some men came loose so she put a tiny portion of my army and the loose bits in a second box. However she only gave me one of the boxes and for ages i thought i was missing vital models (I'm very careful with them).y buddy asked what to do about the gap that was left after I gave him spare bits from the set, he said he will put in an explosion and after that stand of basic infantry was complete I managed to find the elusive box. The contents of which are being painted now.

I think it adds a bit of action to the army. It was a great idea on his part. Better than filling in the gap.

cheese for the compliment.
