So, when I got it a few years back (won it in a raffle!), in my excitement I painted it that very night, using the supplied paints and static grass. Now, I'd like to repaint it, as I have little need for a pastoral battlefield (I play all chaos, I don't want pretty vistas!), but I'm unsure of the best way to strip it.

The normal soak in Simple Green won't work, as I'd need soo much, and a large enough container, that it simply doesn't work. Plus, I need to take off the PVA and static grass too, since that stuff acts like itching powder when it starts coming up.

What do you guys think?

**Edit: Really, I just need to take off the static grass, and I can repaint over the old paints.

Windex or methylated spirits should take even dry acrylic paints and pva off (warm water will take off pva as it NEVER goes waterproof. It just needs a longer soak after it dries).

Otherwise, get the bio-friendly paint stripper of choice, a spray bottle and a stiff bristled brush (wire brushes NOT needed).

It'll take some work, but you should be able to get all of the crud off it, and you'll get a workout, too.

Wax on, wax off.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
