I've been contemplating buying the rulebook and a codex in digital version.
What is the difference between ebook and interactive edition?

ebook is cheaper, and works on more devices.
ibook/interactive is Apple-only, and has pop-ups and army builders, AFAIK. It also self-updates.

If you have an Apple device, and have the extra money, the ibook is 'better'.

I second that; despite having to pay full price for the iBook codices I've been very pleased with them. The pop ups and hot links make both playing and list building a lot easier.

The only downside I've found is that it takes a few seconds to load different sections and more than a few to switch books, so maybe consider how you want to play if your using multiple books for allies etc. I still haven't made up my mind on whether to get a digital version of the rule book (when they release it) because of the switching issue.
