Under the 'Models in the Way' subsection of the 'Movement' section is states that a model can never more or pivot through another model (friend or foe). Then in the Successive Turns subsection of the 'Vehicles in the Assault Phase' section, it states that "if a vehicle pivots on the spot, move these models out of the way as you shift the vehicle.


Soooo Which is it? Can vehicles pivot on the spot while in base contact with other models?

Yes; the more specific rule overrides the general rule. The rule for a specific type of model (vehicle) in a specific situation (after being assaulted) is clearly a more specific exception to the general rule preventing pivoting into models.

Basically if you are trying to box the vehicle in, don't assault it...
