Two detachments
First detachment
HQ
Eldrad ulthran
Farseer, ROW
Warlock council x 3
Troops
3 x jetbikes, shuriken cannon
3 x jetbikes, shuriken cannon
3 x jetbikes, shuriken cannon
Fast attack
7 x warp spiders
7 x warp spiders
Heavy support
2 x walkers, bright lances
2 x walkers, bright lances
Second detachment
HQ
Farseer
Spirit seer council x 3
Troops
10 x wraithblades, axe and shield
3 x Jetbikes, shuriken cannon
So alittle lite on the anti air and anti vehicle shooting but the psyker star would be a hard nut to crack when they are attached to the wraith blades. Jetbikes are still great in 7th to take objectives so there in for that reason.
All feed back welcome

I like the list. I've gotten 3 games in so far and the game does play fairly different from 6th. A lot can depend on the mission you are playing. If playing by the book and you roll off and end up playing Maestrom of War missions, I think you will encounter some challenging matchups due to Objective Secured. Not unwinnable, but challenging with a foot slogging deathstar that does not shoot.
If you are fishing for Invisibility, I'm conflicted at the moment. I've learned I need to throw a good number of dice at it to ensure it does not get denied, but I really risk Perils. My Invisibility ended up on a Spirit Seer and I think that is the wrong model for it. I'd rather have it on a Farseer to ensure I have a Ghosthelm for protection. Possibly start with the 2 Farseers trying to get Invisibility first?
The only minor quibble I'd add is the importance of Runes of Warding. However, you do have a large number of Warp Charges, so it may not quite be necessary. However, with a Deathstar such as yours, it will be a big target and having multiple Runes of Warding. Possibly drop one Wraithguard to ensure another Rune of Warding on the 3rd Farseer?
Let us know how it plays. I'm definitely interested.

So I had a game today at my local, and the list was alittle different as it was only 1500 points.
The list
HQ
Farseer, Row, Sanctic powers
Farseer, Row, runes of fate
Troops
3 x Jetbikes, s cannon
3 x Jetbikes, s cannon
3 x Jetbikes, s cannon
Fast attack
8 x warp spiders
Heavy support
1 x wraithknight
HQ
1 x farseer, Row, Divination
3 x spirit seer, Iyanden runes of battle, telepathy
Troops
3 x Jetbikes, s cannon
10 x wraithgaurd, Wraithcannons
The game I played against tau farsight list and it was number 4 on the maelstrom game table.
In the end the cards did not come my opponents way and he didn't have in the way of denying my powers so it was a tabling by turn 4 and until that point I was up 9 points with the objective cards.
Ultimately I realise it won't always happen but I had all the powers you'd want, the psyker star unit with wraithgaurd had + 1 to there invol and armour saves every turn and with fortune it was re-rollable. Then there guided and doom powers made short work of the suites and farsight. Catching them helped by getting gate of infinity and twilight.
The wraith knight jumped around and tool care of the vehicles and the bikes went and held objectives when needed so overall real happy with the list but I think it needs more anti air. The main unit was I think worse than screamer star so I don't think I'll get to many games with this list.
Speed and movement is no issue with battle focus and if you roll gate of infinity you pose a massive problem for any of you opponents units.

I got a couple of games in yesterday with a version of the list. My first game I ended up mired in assault from the bottom of turn 1 until the top of turn 5 when they finally won combat. This was against Demons. In the end, my opponent kept summoning demonic units and I just had now way to counter all the units sitting on objectives (Scouring mission). I lost by 2 points.
Second game, I tweaked the list a bit to add the Baron. We used the cards (Maelstrom mission #6). I ended up losing by a single point as one unit of 10 Pink Horrors survived two rounds of shooting (producing nearly 30 wounds) and created a significant issue for me to hold an objective.
I ran the D-Scythes, but I'm not so sure I need them in the army.
The deathstar lived in both games and I never rolled Fortune. But, Invisibility is very powerful and my opponent's demons could do very little to my unit in assault. The problem was the my unit was not overly effective in assault. Making sure I had more Wraithguard than other models in the unit was also very important to keep the T6 as the majority.
All in all, I like the direction you went with the unit and I'm really liking how it plays. Fun and characterful.

That's interesting, I did have a feeling that the armies that would pose a problem for this list would be wolves and deamons, I should try and setup a deamons battle and write a batrep.

Cool wraithstar! Not sure if I would upgrade it with scythes for wall of flames, and give you some anti hoard.
As for the rest, I would drop the SC from the bikes and take 2 units of 6 spiders, and maybe for 1850 throw in a CH?
