Hey guys! Just finished up my Tau, so I decided to go back to marines. Here's the test model for my custom chapter, Sons of the Kraken.

They are a Successor to the Red Scorpions, so I'll have lots of Apothecaries in the army

Thanks for looking, please leave C&C!

I think that you should have the colors quartered. A half blue helmet would help the apothecaries' white helmets stand out more as well.

As far as the application goes, your white needs work. You should never apply washes to white regions.

I don't think the color shows too well, but its actually bone.

Oh, well it might look different in real life but I think it looks a bit white in the picture.

Looks like the same chapter symbol as the Emperor's Spears. Great execution, though! For some of the heroes, you might want to check out the tentacle/squid iconography from the Warhammer Fantasy Dark Elf range.

Very nice color scheme. The two colors compliment each other well.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

The shading on the bone's nice and I like the highlighting on the blue. I think this scheme could work well army-wide.

Nice work.

I love the colour scheme. The numeral on the backpack is cool too.

Nice colour scheme with lighter colours and without being too gaudy.
Well done.

Simply not true. Look into vallejo pale wash.
