i confess, I'm usually a die hard khorne fan. i have my khorne list I'm going to play, now i want to try something else. here's my take on a tz list:

chaos demons primary:

18 horrors, icon

6 screamers

soulgrinder, dot, phlegm

10 cultist, autoguns hvy stubber.

the two foot heralds join the horrors, disc herald joins the screamers. that gives me 3 anchors to summon/cast from.

grinders, be'lakor, and the screamers apply pressure upfield, fate controls the random. summon in wherever is needed atm.

you can check your codex to confirm, but the blue scribes is not listed under the table of Heralds of Chaos, so you can't count him as part of your 4 heralds that makes up an HQ slot. So you have to take out either the blue scribes, your heralds, or fateweaver.

Or you could take two daemon detachments? Drop the cultists and stretch the horrors into four smaller units?

no way, the horror squads need to be big like this. right now they are providing me with 6 wc, three from each. if i busted them into 4 smaller units, i could only get 4. i could do the two demon detachments, but I'd be losing points efficiency per wc.

csm allies is just to get belakor with the cheapest tax possible, the cultists.
