So let's say, if a Dark Angels army were to use the Storm Wing Formation, the army will be able to fully utilize the units and use the formation like how regular C:SM armies use it? If yes, is this because of the Battle Brothers in the Ally Matrix? Also, do I need to field another HQ of C:SM to field the Storm Wing Formation?

I've been playing DA for a while now (my first army), and I think that I'm in need to ally good flyers and anti-flyers. Being that I've read so much negative stuff about the Nephilim the DA Codex provides.

You would need a SM army to use the S-wing formation. It may be an ally I believe.

There's no need for a SM army. Formations are self-contained; you just put them in your army

I read somewhere that the rule on the sheet states that it can only transport units from codex: space marines, rather than it counting as being from that codex. If so, doesn't that still rule them out from a dark angels perspective? Or have I been told the wrong wording?
