Well here we go. Just for fun. The whole Custode punching though ogryns while in the 40k equivalent of a muscle shirt and jeans, the comparison "to a marine, what a marine is to a guardsmen", and taking a bolter clip to the face to bring down.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." |

They should definitely be Fearless- I can't see a bodyguard of the Emperor running from the battlefield for any reason. Automatically Appended Next Post: They are, to my knowledge, never depicted with heavy weapons. Their weapon is called a Guardian Spear.

The Custodians are fielded as a fully independent force, this includes state of the art vehicles, heavy weaponry and aircraft.
shrug. Even if there where not any canon instances of them using heavy weaponry, there are still references to their Grav Rhinos and things of that nature.

That's true, but this is meant to be a simple Tactical Squad equivalent of Custodes, meant to add to a primarily Astartes force.

Its a safe not too far assumption if needed they have stores of hevey weapons, termi armour and high end tank busters if required.
They are defenders of humanity's greatest fortress planet.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

They're regularly depicted with termi armor.

Kind of ment on plasma/meta weapons etc. Even if not depicted with it, a staff n bolter is not going to kill tanks, not too far to say they have it ready, as body guards they need to be ready to handle any and all threats to emperor

It still seems easy to picture.
