I'm building and painting 3 Knights for a friend, and wanted to know if anyone has come up with a way to change the poses of the legs? Someone must have come up with something
Having 3 next to each other all with the same leg pose will just look a little strange (at least on a shelf or display, when they're surrounded by terrain on a battlefield maybe it won't be an issue)

It's ridiculous how they're smaller and have virtually no articulation compared to the Dreamforge leviathans but cost just as much. If the models haven't been bought yet, I'f recommend considering leviathans if your area is happy with the proxy. They come in 15mm and 28mm scale versions, sadly the knight is between them in size though.

Thanks, I've already got the models in hand unfortunately.

Do you really go into every thread about the Imperial Knights and post this gak about the Dreamforge Leviathans? They don't look ' 40k'ish at all, in fact, they are mediocre at best.

I offered an alternative if he hadn't already bought the models (which was unclear) that had the ability to pose he wished. What exactly did you contribute to the thread?

I have re posed 3 knights so far. It's really easy and is best done at the knee joints and the pelvic joint.
I haven't tried repositioning feet yet as that creates a lot of problems with readjusting the leg hydraulics. Also the pevlic joint is designed for the legs in the position the come so if you repose, you inevitably end up with one leg shorter than the other. Not a problem if you are making scenic bases, but it would be really obvious if you glued them down.

Cool, thanks - luckily my friend doesn't care about the legs being in a different position and just wants a good paint job. If they were my 3 Knights I'd change the leg positions on at least one of them, but I want to finish these like I would for a proper customer.
Also, while I'm magnetizing the gun options he doesn't care about the shell ejector for the non-melta gun (forget what it's called) so that's a few less magnets to install
Thanks for the replies, guys and gals!
