Got a tournement coming up and am having trouble picking a unit so i'd thought I'dget your input. So far the list in question is as follows:
42pt w/ 10 pt Reinforcements

eDenny
(2) Defilers
Skarlock
Max bane knights
Min Bane thralls w/ua
Max Bloodwitches w/ Hag

And either Max Nyss hunter OR Max Croe's Cutthroats. I have the money for either one. Which do you prefer and why?

Reinforcements are:
2 pistol wraiths
2 warwitch sirens.

In general, Nyss Hunters tend to beat out Croe's for most lists: Nyss are a stronger generalist unit, and while Croe's has a higher theoretical damage output against living targets they typically need help from warcasters that can give them the backstrike opening they need (e.g. Scaverous). You could swap your current reinforcements with the Cutthroats though, since coming in from the side will give them the chance at backstrikes they usually don't get when having to charge in from the front.

As a general purchase I would probably do Nyss first, though.

EDIT: As for the rest of the list itself, I'm not so sure on the min+UA Bane Thralls: I feel like if you're going to commit to a UA, you want to put it on a full strength unit (since the UA costs the same regardless of size, you get more bang for your buck on a full unit). Also feels a bit odd to have two units of Banes and no Tartarus, although you could potentially work around that with feat to stall the enemy while your Banes get into position.

I forgot to mention in the meta i play in there is knky one other cryx player so thats partially why i was think cutthroats. Also tarterous is in my other list with Gaspy2 to help offset the lack of def debuffs and no ghostly. Also changed the reinforcements to

1 warwitch
1 pistol wraith
min unit of bile thralls.
