WHAT: WARMACHINE/HORDES Demo Day and 15pt Casual Event
WHEN: Saturday, June 7th. Registration and open gaming start at noon and continue as late as people want to play!
WHERE: The Temple Games @ 167 Columbus Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
EVENT COST: $5 per player, which includes lunch cooked out on the grill! Free to players getting their first demo!

RSVP through our Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/235854693276647/

NEW PLAYERS: Interested in WARMACHINE/HORDES, or in tabletop wargaming altogether? Come in for a casual, new player-friendly day to get a demo or two, meet the community, and experience a fun, casual game day! No experience, no models, and no materials are required - just bring yourself!

EXISTING PLAYERS: Alongside the demos, we will be having a 15pt "free play" event. This means that, unlike in a tournament, you can show up at any time, freely choose your opponents, change your list each round, etc! Come down and throw down in as many games as you can stomach! This is a great chance to come and meet our growing community in a pressure-free format! The format is:
* 15 point games. You can change your army any way you want between rounds, so no stress about what you brought!
* Choose an opponent and a table each round. You cannot play the same opponent twice in a row.
* Earn achievements focused around quantity of games, use of scenarios and (relaxed) timed turns, playing with different warcasters/warlocks, and generally knowing your game rules.

Events like this are based on the official STEAMROLLER format from Privateer Press. We currently use Steamroller 2013 scenarios and rules at all of the Temple’s tournaments and casual events.
