Subject: Good non-GW counts-as terminator models?

I'm planning on starting up a 1st company force for my Blood Angels, and naturally a 1st founding 1st company wouldn't be complete without a terminator squad or two. However, i dislike the look of GW/FW terminators (dislocated shoulders put me off), and was wondering if anyone knew of any other models that could be good stand-ins?

The Exemplar Cinerators are friggin sick and they're way cheaper than GW garbage. They look cool too.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:

"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." |

How about Privateer Press minis? i was thinking a few years ago when I bought the quick starter set for Warmaching that they could make pre-Dark Angels. Not sure if they would fit your vision of 1st company Blood Angels. *edit* The Primordal beat me to it. Is this what it means to be *ninjaed*?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Neither Tartaros Terminators nor Cata Terminators look like they have dislocated shoulders, and also look a great deal better than the hunchback/dislocated shoulder appearance of indomitus terminator armor. Plus if your local FLGS is a GW shop, the store owner won't flip their gak for using other models for W40K.

And those Cinerators have anything made by GW beat in terms of ridiculous shoulder plate.

Scibor is by far the coolest place for terminators. Have a good look around there. Incredibly detailed models too.

Not to mention look even worse than the case of a malformed skeleton you have with the hunchback GW terminators.

True.
Doesn't stop them from being more detailed, and looking cooler, though does it?
Not to mention like, on average, half the price on Ebay. Automatically Appended Next Post: Wyzilla wrote: Bobthehero wrote:And those Cinerators have anything made by GW beat in terms of ridiculous shoulder plate.

You realize the armor is nowhere near formfitting right?
I mean the small head should of been a tip off, but it's basically meant to be like a loader from Aliens, but without powered augments.

I would love to see the Egyptian ones for the 1000s Sons instead of the stupid tall helmets they use now.
