So, the entry on Pg. 68 is pretty clear- a gliding MC moves, runs, and charges like a Jump MC (in other words, a Jump unit but it doesn't become a jump unit).
Does this mean that a gliding MC still has a Jink save and can Vector strike? The book is pretty clear that you lose your Jink save the turn you are "grounded", but after that, if you stay Gliding...?
Oh, and another little tie bit- if I have a blast weapon with Skyfire, I can shoot it at a Flyer. What happens if the shot scatter? Does the blast affect models on the ground? Other flyers?

It's explicitly stated that blast weapons cannot affect a zooming flyer, not even with Skyfire.
Treated exactly like a Jump Monsteous Creature means it is not treated like an FMC. The only difference is it still retains the ability to Swoop again and gain the movement of a Jump Monsterous Creature with the Swoop exceptions. There may be a bit of sloppy wording on GWs oart, but no way any opponent is letting you Vector Strike and Jink with a JMC.

Why wouldn't you allow it? Absolutely nothing about Jink or Vector Strike ties it to the Swooping movement mode.
Gliding just means you move, run and assault like a Jump MC - in no way is it "treated like" a Jump MC, which is an explicit change in wording from 6th.

Unfortunately due to a wording issue you do NOT make snap shots at airborne FMCs if you have the sky fire rule (which is odd as it appears to be the one bit that GW haven't copy-pasted where the could have)
Which means that RAW they can be hit by template weapons as it is not a snap shot.
Whether or not it will be played this way is another matter.

Vector Strike only does anything if the model is Swooping or Zooming. (Check the USR)

Yes to Jink in gliding mode as its a USR that is granted to the unit type, and is not dependent a particular flight mode like Flyers.
No to Vector Strike since, as coredump already stated, you have to be Swooping.
