If I hit with a Tesla Destructor a big long squad with which wraps around and surrounds a vehicle, and that attack Arcs into the vehicle - how do I work out which AV value of the vehicle to resolve the S5 hits against?

A) On the side of the vehicle that faces my tesla destructor unit?
B) The side of the vehicle that faces the closest model in the original target unit?
C) Any side of the vehicle, of the necron player's choice on the provision that at least one model in the target unit would be able to shoot that side?
D) Same as C but the enemy player's choice of model?
E) Auto-side-hit?
F) Auto-rear-hit?

I don't think the current rules and FAQ has a RAW or at least I couldn't find one. So I guess I'll "make da call"

HIWPI
Facing from shooter
Reasons
1. If you could only hit the front normally, it is a stretch to imagine that your tesla could arc through the whole unit and then have enough power to hit the armour on the other side (rear)
2. It is more similar to blasts than it is to barrage which falls from above and vector strike, which gives other situations. I mean, it is not lobbed high and strikes down nor is it from a monster crapping on you from above.

While all this has no supporting evidence, it is purely HIWPI. If your opponent agrees on anything else, it's a bonus.

the old FAQ stated that the hits are taken from the direction of the shooter. might even be the codex itself.

as nothing's really changed, I'd say it's from the direction of the shooter.
