Here's another rule exclusion that affects a handful of armies.

If you need to measure distances to and from a unit embarked in a transport or building, you would measure from the hull of said transport/building in 6th edition. This would be for a Venomthrope's ability while being within a Bastion, a KFF Big Mek in a Battlewagon, and a number of other cases - where non-shooting abilities are used.

So can these abilities penetrate outside of the transport/building walls now? I cannot find a rule that states how to measure such things in the new rules.

I'm looking there (and under buildings) and I'm not seeing it. Got a page number (or Paragraph/Section given BRB/ERB numbering woes)?

If the players need to measure a range involving the embarked unit (except for its shooting), this range is measured to or from the vehicle’s hull.

It's the last line in the first paragraph about Embarking. It's very subtle, I asked about this as well weeks ago.
