Hi all! One of the seemingly few female members of the Warhammer familyhere.

I started out around Black Reach time more about the painting and modelling and story at the time, went back to uni so no money but now have a great job to indulge my plasticrack addiction. In doing so I have decided this year to start learning to play more and better. I am cyrrently annoyed as I got 6th ed with Dark Vengeance not long ago to support this then stupid 7th came out so currently sulking and starting to play fantasy.

40k
I have Orks which I love the background of they have been packed away a fair while and I have barely played them but the new Gorkanaught calls us
Too many things to keep track of in orks so I decided to learn with to got with my other love Blood Angels picked up a number of new and second hand stuff which is currently on my modelling/painting table I have put magnets in the wrong way twice now

Fantasy
Saw new dwarfs and thought hey cool steampunk, even tho I always thought nah never playing fantasy too complicated but I got a coupla lessons in and am now enthused esp since I'm peeved at 40k. I bpught the book and am currently considering buying a 2ndhand army as it has been offered to me v reasonably. I do like the character of the dwarf models even tho if you asked me without looking dwarfs wouldn't get a look in.

Wood Elves...........cool sh*t on stags...I was sold

Currently have 1000 pts secondhand

Am still trying to decide whether to choose one or both these armies so please any help would be appreciated as I have yet to give an answer on doorfs. I do not like the static dwarf gunline but I'm convinced you can be more aggressive with them.

I am also starting to play BloodBowl.

There's a small on in Queensland, and what's most interesting is that they play at a G-dub.

I heard that Blood Bowl is fairly big in Oz. Here in Auckland and NZ we have a small but passionate BB community and certainly enough to run an annual league at CityGuard. I'm just starting but it seems pretty neat and a shame that GW has pulled support for it.

I really wish I had an opportunity to get into BFG and stuff like it. It pains me to have to buy proxy models or models from ebay.
