Hello all!
I have recently started to dip my toes back into 40k. I have not played in many years, but I really like building the army. It seems that from time to time bits will still randomly fall off.
Anyways, my Death Company marine was taking part in a demo of a test for a display board I was working on when lo and behold... his arm fell off.
The first thing that came to my mind was: "It's just a flesh wound!"
Got me thinking...
(Note: not my best paint job. this guy was in the 2nd set of guys I painted upon my return. no basecoat, wrong kind of yellow paint, a total mess. These guys will be the first victim, er, i mean recipient of my attempt to strip and repaint minis)

Eh, little greenstuff, little epoxy glue, he'll be good as new. Or, hey! Perfect opportunity to model an augmetic limb on him.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

I'd reglue it with something like this:
http://www.testors.com/product/0/8872C/_/Liquid_Cement_For_Plastic
That glue melts the parts together and they won't fall off anymore. It just needs the joint to be free of paint. Once applied, hold the parts firmly together for about 30 seconds.

I like that!!!! Need to find one around here.
My glue bottle tip tends to collect left overs and has to be cleaned off because the amount that comes out is difficult to regulate.

The testors stuff should be easy to find in the US.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

If you use plastic glue it would be better to scrape off all the previous glue and paint, since the glue can only bond plastic.

This 100% regardless of glue. Get a nice clean contact, key your area and consider a small reinforcing pin. This also gives you an incentive to touch up the paint around the arm in case of damage.
