So trying to make the angels competitive with a pure list. Saw my Ravenwing get ruled into the dirt with the new way jink works and such so needed a new list to keep up with the times. Looking at something like this so far.
HQ:
120 Librarian w/ Lvl 2, Bike
160 Librarian w/ Lvl 2, Terminator Armor, Power Field Generator
335 Deathwing Command squad w/ Banner of Devastation, Apothecary, 4x TH/SS
295 Land Raider Crusader w/ Deathwing, MM, dozer blades
Troops:
175 10x Tactical Squad w/ Rhino
175 10x Tactical Squad w/ Rhino
175 10x Tactical Squad w/ Rhino
Fast Attack:
252 6x Ravenwing Black Knights w/ Grenade Launcher
160 Ravenwing Dark Talon
General Idea is to have the rhinos and the Land raider cruise up midfield and the rhinos unload turn 1. Probably going to combat squad the marines to help when they jump out for extra shooting at different targets. Have the raider giving the banner buff + the invulnerable save. After that it would be mainly diving the terminators into something that I don't want in melee with the rest of my army and have the black knight lowering toughness of units or outflanking vs gunlines and attempting to claw their way into melee.

mmm, banner of dev seems wasted to salvo just one land raider. it's a lot of points that could be better spent than giving yourself some better bolter fire. Also the libby squad will be cc yes? If so not sure if you should give him a PFG which will confer it on the enemy as well. It might work, never tried it, but i don't see the value.
While dark talon is a nice model with nice ideas, GW was a bit too reserved in making it effectively viable. I'd can it for some better AA. I'd say drop banner and dark talon to grab an ADL with quad gun, and sport a couple HF land speeders to better deal with tarpit hordes than the salvo raider ever could

That or go with this list if i wanted to make Dark angels and Grey knights work together. I like how they didn't errata the shield generator from working inside vehicles again.

Salvo Banner would also effect the squads of marines for overwatch purposes as well as turn 1 I would drive and dump them out if safe. Turn 2 that's 40 bolter shots assuming full strength squad to anything within 24" of the marines which is easy to get into. Automatically Appended Next Post: You do have to declare at the begining of game, but they can still ride in the same dedicated transports. The Grey knight list is kind of funny because all GK vehicles get sanctuary base per errata meaning that would be an army of 3++ vehicles for every one of the ones I get sanctuary off on.

keep in mind that the tac marines aren't relentless, so salvo will be heavily nerfed if they move. I find that banners such as this keep you so focused on maintaining coherency that you forgo tactically better options in favour of the bolter boost. If you do run with it just keep that in mind. BUT 2 land speeders with 2 heavy flamers each will do 30-40 hits a turn easy on blobs with a higher strength and a better AP.

You need to check to see if PFG works in vehicles. As far as I am aware the FAQ allows it now, but the digital codex does not.
Im not sure about the flyer. DA flyers have never been good.

Talon is just bad.
Maybe consider cutting it for a DarkShroud and a couple more knights. 2++ Jink is really really good.
