I've been wanting to get the Necron HQ characters for a while. Szeras and Obyron looks really cool in their poses. However, I'm not really that excited having a finecast warscythe bend slowly over time.

Has GW ever converted a finecast model to plastic and released it before? If this has never happened, I'm thinking of just throwing my hands in the air and click order for these "fine"cast.

The Necron players I know all run special characters, and while some of them have had to get replacements for bad casts upon opening, none of them has had a problem with warping over time. I don't think you'll have that bad of a problem, personally.

Hmmmm then perhaps I'll just hope for the best. I had bad experiences with quite a few Death Cult Assasins because they where joined to their base by only one slender foot. Now half of them look like they are falling over.

The Flamers of Tzeentch. They where metal, Then got released as Finecast and if I remember correctly it was just a few months before the new Daemon codex came out and they got re-released as plastics.
