They just announced that Grey Wolf is back in the online store and it's been revised like they did for Red Bear!

Anyone found out where we can find the changes specifically listed out with the new points and everything? I already have Grey Wolf and don't want to have to buy a second one, especially after the Soviets got a handy little PDF for Red Bear so they wouldn't have to buy the new copy.

I looked around their page and couldn't find the PDF. It Gould be on the page I linked to if they did it similar to Red Bear. You could try emailing them and asking them. I found their responses to be relatively quick (a few days to respond) but they were helpful for me with previous questions.

From the Battlefront forums:

Chris at Battlefront wrote:Because the changes to the book are so minor, at this point there is currently no plan to put out a PDF update for it. The key changes were mainly to the Arsenals and they are listed in the Grey Wolf (Revised) Changes article.

Not exactly...

I note, for instance, that if you don't own Atlantik Wall and/or Nuts!, then you've got some issues. For instance, since I don't own a copy of Nuts!, my Sturmtigers are no longer using the correct rules.

Easy army. I haven't bought any books FoW books since I discovered it.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

So really the only non-cosmetic changes are to PzSpah Co. points and SturmTiger rules...out of a 250+ page book?

Don't really see why this is an issue...

It's a bit more than what you believe.

So, some relatively minor errata changes. And the most of the "major" changes are lowered costs for PzSpah and some artillery.

As a German player, these are great, common-sense changes. I don't see how this is a "bad" thing.

The 'bad thing' is not knowing without spending $50 for a book when in the past they've simply given PDF updates.

I would be surprised if they didn't release a PDF update of some sort eventually.

The problem at this point is that trying to explain things again is pointless as some people's opinion have now become the topic and personal attacks will simply have the thread deleted. I have let this run as it is important to let people discuss things but don't forget this is the BF forum, run and paid for by this company so avoid the personal attacks as it only ends one way.

We have made a difficult business decision to try and fix the one part of the world that has always had issues with pricing and stock because it is the smallest part of the market the furthest away from everything. We dropped prices here twice to try and fix things over the years and have come to the decision to hand it over to Aetherworks as our other choice was to simply not directly supply. The issues in this part of the world are real and there is a reason why very few companies supply direct down here and that pricing and stock is always the problem as we are all trying to manage the same fundamental issue. We have made our decision and for better or for worse we will live with consequences.

Note that the above comments are in regards to Battlefront's distribution partnership with Aetherworks Hobby Products and a subsequent price increase in Australia and nothing to do with the updated Grey Wolf.

The books always remain valid unless they're officially revised in the FAQs or PDFs so your Strumtiger rules are still valid so long as you're up to date in your current volumes even if there are different rules in other books.

i just got me a used copy of the book awhile back,As a fellow owner of the book.i am not to worried about it.it would be nice if they supplied a PDF of a rules errata.if they dont i think i will just find someone with the update material and just have them scan or copy them for me.So crisis averted.or better yet, sticker like the old days to replace the listing.

Got this email from Battlefront. What I originally sent

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to actually view the changes made to Grey Wolf. When the revised Red Bear book came out, Battlefront released a small PDF showing all the changes for things such as unit entries and rules changes to make the new rules easier to access. Unfortunately, I can find no such PDF on the website. Closest I can find is this http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=4481 , but it doesn't actually show what the new entries are, it just states that things have changed. For example the line of "Page 166 / 156: Heavy Artillery Battery. Reduced points cost of s10cm K18 and 12.8cm K81 guns." doesn't actually list the new costs where I can view it, at least without dropping $50 for a book that is fairly similar to the one I already own.

Have I just missed it on the website somewhere, or is it not on there? It seems really odd that you guys wouldn't release a little PDF for the people who already have the book, especially since you guys seemed to handle the Red Bear revision fairly well.
