Simply fantastic. I love the look of the Italian fleet too, and this makes them stand out beautifully.

Don't usually care for this scale but these are really nice!

Was this a commission or personal job?

Need more 's in my life!

Brilliant looking stuff! I'd love to get into this game, but painting at that scale must be killer!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

Thanks very much, people!

@Daba: Cheers!

@Darkjim: Thanks. Nice avatar, btw. Is that a genuine photo or 'shopped?

@Devoted of Slaanesh: Besten Dank! Who are you then, are you on Die Festung under a different name?

@Icelord: Can't leave the house (or harbor) without running across a Space Marine these days.

@Emperors_Champion: Thanks muchly. It's always extra nice being complimented by people who aren't really into the models themselves. That was a commissioned job. I watched a turn or so of DW at a local wargames show in March but never played myself.

@gunslingerpro: Thanks muchly. As far as I know a new edition of the rules was just released and knowing Spartan Games (or 'modern' wargames miniatures companies) I'm sure they're planning to expand. To be perfectly honest - it was quite a lot of work to paint these models but it's worth it. They have a few slightly weird quirks to them but they do look rather pretty all together if the colour scheme is straightforward. Once you're in the groove you get used to the scale really. It's the kind of models on which a clean painting style really pays off.

Oh, alright. In October the 2nd VIVAT will be held at Zinnfigurenwelt Katzelsdorf. I'll be doing a painting workshop there in case you're interested in historical wargaming and such.

Sigur, we will stay in touch. I am interested in history wargames, have DUST and some Perry models for future Game of Thrones army.
I saw your blog here and I must say that you have yet another fan. Will follow it closely.

Best regards,

Meto

Verrrrry nice! Looks very crisp and clean....quite fancy the Italian fleet as well, will see what they're like in 2.0 first....
