I have just started coming back to the game. When I first played, I did not play that much so playing again tonight with my wife was mostly me flipping through the book trying to remember how things worked while she found any excuse to go some where else.

She placed a squad of marines down and one of them was backwards. I had to add some dialog.

apologies for the shaky photo

Also, anyone know the caliber of rounds fired by bolters?

Heh, cute.

40mm self propelled grenades, IIRC.

Depends on the bolter type. The godwyn pattern is .75 caliber, whereas the Tigrus is .60 IIRC.

Older models fire smaller rounds than newer ones. They both fire depleted uranium shells

.75 calibre bolt, composed of a diamantine tip, depleted deuterium core and mass-reactive detonator, typically in bursts of four rounds.

That's for the Godwyn, the standard for marines.
