(as long as I'm not logged in as I'm a UK resident and can't actually buy kindle books from the USA)

so it might be worth trying again if you are entitled to buy kindle books from .com (of course it could be some cookie based price matching of the UK prices based on my ISP data)

Nope, mine says "Pricing Information is not available" Hopefully a temporary glitch.

Tis a shame; while I'm not sure I'm interested in 28mm WW2 that price is low enough to be worth a look.

Can I buy this even if I don't have a Kindle, just in case I get one later? Or do you have to have a device set up already? It says "deliver to 'my kindle cloud reader' ", so I'm worried it'll end up going nowhere...

Just out of interest what exactly is in the Kindle edition? I assume it's designed for Kindle there must be no illustrations.

All the images etc are there (click on look the image of the book to 'look inside' and see on the purchase page)

so It will work best on either a Kindle Fire or one of the Reader Apps,

although you can in theory look at it on a Kindle e-reader the pictures will be in black and white, and navigating from page to page is a bit of a pain if you're using rather than reading them
