Hey I am going to be spending about a month at cape cod in mid july and early june. I am wondering if there are any game stores in the area that are active or any tournaments that I might be able to attend?

I will be attending connecticon but was wondering if there are any others. Not often that I am on the east coast with an army.

There are a few around the South Coast area.

The one I go to is New England Comics in New Bedford. https://www.facebook.com/groups/632063100185993/
There are other NECs dotted between here and Boston so you might also want to check those out
I have a couple of friends that play over in Wareham usually on Monday evenings. You can ask for Chops or Duff. https://www.facebook.com/groups/205323632965596/
I've heard good things about Table Top as well

There are also a couple of places called the Battle Bunker and Stillpoint. Never been to either so I can't say. If you're going to be here for a while there's a gaming convention in Taunton come July.

I notice my posts seem to bring threads to a screeching halt. Considering the content of most threads on dakka, you're welcome.

Haaaaaa, I'll never be referred to by my first name. We actually play in Wareham, not in Westport, which is right in Cape Cod. A lot of places around here are small and are currently trying to build up player bases. We play 40k and Fantasy on Monday nights at Cape Cod Collectibles. Of course, there will be CaptainCon in July too.

Dark Angels- 7500 pts
Tau- 5000pts
Chaos Daemons- 3000/2000 pts
Dark Eldar(allies)- 1500 pts

Sorry about that, don't know why but I confuse those 2 all the time.

I'm going to be on the Cape for a couple weeks, Mid July to early August. Just in time for Captaincon...still thinking about it though.

There is another place in Barnstable is Gamenight.net. I haven't had any luck in getting a pickup game there, but the store is pretty nice. It's fairly close to where I will be and I'd be up for meeting there for a game.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Yea I think I am going to connecticon on the way there, then staying till early August. I would totally be down for getting a few games in (Maybe get some practice games for captaincon in once we see their missions)

Gamenight.net is an awesome store with TONS of great terrain, though I rarely see people playing 40K in there. I think they do have designated 40K nights though.

I'm down the Cape often, but my big 40K space is in Boston... see my blog. Happy gaming.

Any of you Cape players have regular WHFB weekend events? I live up in Webster so it is a bit of a haul but would be willing once or twice a month to head out that way if there is stuff going on. Having issues finding anything on off weeks when my friends group isn't playing
