Okay, So with the Summoning available in 7th ed. I'm planning on picking up some demons to summon.

I've already picked up a box of Plauge Bearers, but I'd like to know what would be some others I should pick up for summoning?

I like to say I have two armies: Necrons, and Imperium.....

The models you want the most are pretty much Heralds of Tzeentch, try to get ones wtih Discs then magnetize.

Pink Horrors

Daemonettes

Greater Demons

Of all the lesser daemons to summon, I think that Pink Horrors are probably the best. Not only is Flickering Fire pretty good, but they also add to your warp charge pool.

Plaguebearers are pretty resilient objective holders, in particular because of their shrouded rule stacking with cover to give them a 2+ or 3+ save.

Daemonettes are really fast and have rending.

Bloodletters are pretty good in melee if they manage to get there. I wouldn't bother summoning bloodletters unless you had the warp charges to reliably summon 2 or more groups a turn.

If you happen to have all 4 types of lesser daemons at hand, it'll probably come down to the situation in the game determining which type you summon, although Pink Horrors and Plaguebearers (in that order) will be the most useful in general I think.

Sekhmet - Dynasty 4000pts Greenwing - 2000pts Deathguard - 1500pts Daemons of Nurgle - 1000pts ~320pts

Plaguebearers kind of lose out a bit to Daemonettes because they can't run after being summoned. Daemonettes have Fleet and plus 3 to that.

That's really the reason I put Daemonettes ahead of Plaguebearers.

Why can't DA summon daemons without worrying about all doubles, such cheese lol. Lore wise the Legion is corrupt as hell, they torture people to the most deprave means, they lie and keep secrets even from themselves, they're like Anakin right before he killed all those kids.

Nothing more fun than tabling an opponent

Daemon summoning is always portrayed as being pretty risky. Daemons don't feel loyalty to anyone, not dark angels or chaos marines or random hive city psykers. All mortals are just potential doorways into reality and a quick meal.

Screw that noise. Get the Burning Chariot kit for the same cost where you can get a separate Herald if you assemble it with the Flamer. You can easily convert a Disc from the chariot kit anyway if you really want one.

Plus not Finecast.

Converting a Disc out of the Burning Chariot is tricky though, because of the cunning way it is designed to prevent magnetising, I'm not sure you could make it reversible so you could have a separate herald, exalted flamer, both in the chariot and the herald on the disc.

Undoubtedly better value just for the bits and being plastic though.

I'm actually seriously thinking mech daemons could be a thing now, with the improvements to chariots, there isn't a single slot in the FOC outside of troops that doesn't include at least one unit with an AV value that you couldn't make a case for, maybe not as a GT winning list, but certainly something that could be tough to deal with.

Was just about to say this. You can make a disc from the Chariot, with Herald on it (magnetize), and get an Exalted Flamer on the side, plus two Screamers, all for the same cost as a Herald on a disc. I recommend doing so soon, before GW realizes that trick and jumps up the price on the Chariot box.
