I finally unpacked the whole army for some photos... I didn't want to put them in the showcase as some models are unfinished, though. It took almost 2 hours to get everything taken out and put away again! Foam is a bit time consuming with so many models. Not pictured are 3 more warriors, 18 raveners and about 50 gaunts, but that's most of them! What do you all think?

I do very much love to see a huge, swarming mass of Tyranid models. The fun thing is that I probably have almost that number, just no motivation to do them.

One at a time and before you know it... the whole army's done! I've been working on these for over 4 years, and they're still a work in progress. So keep at it! I've found batch work to be really good for the large number of smaller models.

I do have about 30 devilgants and another 20-30 fleshborer gants, they're just in a state of unprimed, unpainted sadness and I didn't want to put too many unpainted models out... Guess that means I'd better get painting for photo shoot #2!

I very much want a Heirophant, however, they are somewhat cost-prohibitive and the used market is limited where I am. I've got my eyes peeled though! I'll jump on one when I find a good deal. It would really make a fantastic centrepiece...
