'lo there dakkadaka

I have just been painting my BA army and so far have painted up, starting with Mephiston red, washing with carroburg crimson, layering with evil sunz scarlet andx edge highlighting with wild rider red.

I just think that it needs some more extreme highlights in order to make the edges pop more and was wondering what the next red (or will probably basically orange)is called?

Thanks,

I'm not overly familliar with the GW paint, but I think the best way to get natural shade transitions is simply to mix in a tiny bit of white/off-white into the last colour you used, to just make it a shade brighter. I think this gives a more natural transition than just using a different paint.

Hope that helps.

You could maybe add a light drybrush with Kindleflame or highlight with some kind of orange. I like to highlight my Word Bearers with watered down Jokaero Orange, but I think Troll slayer Orange or Fire Dragon Bright will work just as well, if not better.
There's also a Citadel Edge-paint called Lugganoth Orange which could work as well.

I'd add orange in to wildrider red, if it's to orange knock it back with some blood letter glaze.
