My name's Dustin, go by the nickname Venom. I live an hour south of New Orleans, or as we say here Nawlins, and an two hours due south west of Baton Rouge. I got intoduced to 40K in 2012, starting with a very small Space Marines force, now moving to Catachan, focusing on Vietnam-esque tactics; airborne attacks, artillery/tanks, infiltration, and fire. I got out of the hobby a while ago when my life started tanking, but thanks to getting in a perfect relationship and settling things with my family, I am ready to get back into playing. I play at +1 Gaming in Metarie and will start going to Little Wars during the summer.

Besides wargaming, I am a very big time fisherman. Kayak fishing saved me from myself, and it is a large part of my life now. I write for a NOLA based fishing magazine, Coastal Angler Magazine-NOLA. I play older video games religiously, when I can play thanks to my work schedule. Im a very big old school Mario fan, I can play them all day and night. I work for a local survey company, T. Baker Smith, the best job ever.

Always up for meeting and playing with new players. If anyone from Lake Charles to Gulf Port wants to play, has a tournament, or even just wants to hang out/go fishing, I am all for it!
