Crazed Cultist of Khorne

With unbound armies rising to popularity, I devised an interesting mix of my own for fun games with friends. Basically, the army comprises of as many CSM and Eldar independent characters as possible, all rushing towards the enemy to annihilate everything and anything. My question is: how many independent characters can I run in a transport if they join the same unit? For example: could Kharn, several chaos lords, several chaos sorcerers, and a squad of csm all cozy up in the same land raider? (Now imagine Be'Lakor casting invisibility on that LR all day! )

Thanks!

As long as their battle brothers and don't exceed the occupancy, all IC in a unit is one unit and can ride in one transport.

Cram them in there! Khârn will make room, I'm sure...

Although don't forget that Bulky and Very Bulky models take up extra space in transports.

You'd be wanting to run 2 transports, as they aren't battle bro's.

so a landraider full of chaos characters and a waveserpent or has-trouble vect's personal AV13 ravager full of eldar characters alongside.

And, don't forget, that while CSM are battle brothers, they cannot join units of differing marks.

SO Kharn can never join a unit of sorcereors.

only if they have a mark. unmarked sorcerors can join kharne and give his unit a 1+ deny the witch roll

got to say, not sure how abbadon would work in this instance... he has all the marks, so if he's in a unit, can anyone join?

Good point. I thought the FAQ was that Abaddon could join any marked unit.
