I'm trying to throw together a small, little 150 Corregidor list that I can use in small scale games (when I finally manage to get some other people to play with me). I understand this isn't going to be the strongest list. I mean, I can't use link teams with it and I don't have a hacker, doctor, or engineer with it, but, I was trying to avoid having too many special rules with it. That being said, does this seem like an okay list?
JURISDICTIONAL COMMAND OF CORREGIDOR
──────────────────────────────────────────────────
GROUP 1 6 0 0
INTRUDER (Lieutenant) Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, Grenades / Pistol, CCW. ( 36)
HELLCAT Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. ( 20)
TOMCAT Combi Rifle + E/Mitter, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. ( 19)
MOBILE BRIGADA HMG / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 43)
WILDCAT Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. ( 19)
ALGUACIL Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. ( 10)
2 SWC | 147 Points

I fail to see the point of the wildcat, you may as well get 2 alguacils instead as the extra order will serve you better than any DTW will, and they could be linked. This is probably more of a case of personal preference but I'd take the DEP tomcat over the mines one seeing as you have an extra SWC. I've used the mine one a few times but generally don't like to muck around with placing them after I bring him/her in. Especially when you have so few orders. Note I've never actually used the DEP, but its the only cheap outfit that has a flamer. It is still an option though.

Some of the choices I made more or less based on the models. I just like the Wildcats more than the Alguaciles models. Same with the tomcat. I don't care for the DEP model as much as the others. I suppose I could always proxy.

As good a reason as any, I can say as well I would take a wildcat model over the alguacil any day. Hence (apart from the chick in the starter box) my wildcats are often fielded as alguacils.
Following that line this could then work out to be the starter box, plus a tomcat and MB blister which is pretty easy. If you prefer the tomcat eng/doc model then go with that, as I said it was more of a personal preference.

Nomads are amazing, and I love them. I haven't played too many games, and all of them have been with 40k minis, but I've loved every game.
In your scenario I'd take rahxephon's advice. Wildcats are great for a lieutenant and hackers, -6 bts is tasty. Since you're losing 3 points, and that is a lot(enough to make a tomcat go from basic to doctor), I'd go for more orders. The flamethrower is definitely worth considering and the 13 bs skill is much better, but save it for a 200 point game(or when you have 9 points to spare and no SWC).
If you just have a magnetic alluring to the cats like I do. Consider this:
Intruder HMG (44|1.5)
Hellcat Shotgun (20|0)
Tomcat Combi (19|1)
Tomcat E/Mitter (19|0)
Wildcat Lieutenant (19|0)
Wildcat LFT (19|0)
Alguacil Combi (10|0)
I like the Intruders way of handling the HMG better (sneak attack and Visor L2, bye bye ODD). If you want to keep the Mobile Brigada, go for it. Those 2 wounds are nice.

The hmg intruder is an incredibly effective unit to be sure, and is teetering on the edge of being undercosted for what it can do. However I wouldn't entirely overlook the mobile brigade with one either. Its a very standard heavy infantry, but those are quite good in themselves. The main benefit is the extra wound so they can shrug off crits which happen quite often in my experience. The other plus for the hmg MB is that the model has the old grunty hmg weapon model but it doesn't look out of scale on him being a HI. Unlike the hmg alguacil... That's of course a POV matter.
Typically I would expect the standard combi outfit on the intruder to be adequate at this point level as well. The hmg is essential is you're engaging heavy things with camo or odd like HI. But as those are pretty expensive I've haven't seen many field them at this points level. As a result most camo enemies would probably be skirmishers which are taken out easy enough by the combi rifle and the lft it comes with is not to be overlooked either. I'm quite an advocate for the Lt option on the intruder. The extra WIP is nice, hardly game breaking but the extra order is always useful on him/her.
Also if you like the McMurrough model he's great on the field.

HMG units in general seem undercosted because they generally are. The HMG is just insanely good for what it costs, probably the only thing in the game I'd really consider not balanced. When you slap it on a unit like the Intruders with MSVl2 and Camo, or, for example, on Gao Tarsos or Ragiks with decent armour, PH and AD: 3, you've got a unit custom designed to troll your opponent.

I'm generally a big proponent of WYSIWYG. Someday I'd like to make my own custom HMG Intruder using the kick ass new style sculpt. I saw someone on the official boards pull it off really well.
I mostly want to keep the Brigada because A)he's the only unit that is actually finished so far, B)I like his model, C)I wanted to have some weapon variety and survivability. Since he's an HI, I shouldn't have to worry about losing him quite as much.
Survivability was also the reason I chose the Intruder for LT. The heavier armor and the camo should make taking him down more of a chore for my opponent.
Would it be worthwhile to swap out that Tomcat for the Doctor variant?
It doesn't sound like you guys think the higher BS on the Wildcat necessarily makes it a better choice over the Alguacile.

Sounds like a good plan to me, and at this points level you would rather have more orders than a slightly better cheerleader. And with the extra swc an alguacil could act as the Lt so it keeps a bit of uncertainty in the list
