Chainswords aren't very stealthy. How would they make them quiet?

I would like to point out why modern chainsaws get "gummed up."
Just look at those Teeth!
Chainsaws were impractical until they swiched to the pictured chain, copied off of a beetle, and designed with the sole intent of sawing down trees and cutting through wood. it does this well due to the "chewing" motion the chain imparts.
A grimdark chainsaw, on the otherhand has little shark's teeth made out of 100% Unobtanium. No little bites to get caught in, the fibers would just either be cut, or they would slide off, not get dragged into the motor like the video shows.
And lets not forget the rule of cool.

Although we are using adamantium, which is a real element, just look at any periodic table, that is about right. All those pointing at modern chansaws look closely at the "blade". It is not even sharp, dull enough to be seen as such to the human eye. Modern chainsaws use the speed of the blade and a more of a mulching action than a cutting one to cut (or dare I say mulch) down trees. This action makes the cut take longer and provides more control and stability, which you need if you want to determine how you want the tree to fall.

nonono. The machine spirit and the wielder are one. they must fight together and win together, in this way, when the space marine charges into combat, the spirit begins to grow with the joint anger of all the marines experience. That, my friends is friendship. Or you just press a button.

I looked at an ork chain choppa, really just a big chain sword, it does have exaust ports, but that could be some kind of space know wots, I assume it uses a motor, just a really technilogicaly advansed one. As for cutting power, think of how long it takes to cut through a log with a chainsaw, now add armour, give the log a gun, and ask yourself if you think it is still effective.

Once again, chainsaw references are useless unless we know for sure exactly what mechanism drives it and how it does the damage. A chainsaw really doesnt exactly cut, more like chewing through the wood. The chainsword, for one, has a totally different blade, is made for war and not slow, exact cuts, and we do not know what mechanism drives the blade around on it. Also realize that when you are in close quarters combat, you are not going to have time to reload your weapon. What do you think the person you are fighting is going to do, wait for you to reload? That is why you would have a close combat weapon, even if it is just a bayonet (that is why they had bayonets on most weapons through the WWII, maybe even longer. a gun maybe better in most circumstances, but you only have so much ammo in a magazine, and when fighting up close you will run out.).
