Can't wait for this one. I'm sure I've read somewhere on the tinterweb that it's slated for a Q1 2011 release. Hopefully that will give the developers a chance to really polish this up into a nice shiney game.

Agreed. Mostly I want the melee mechanics to flow fluently, while not unbalancing the ranged mechanics.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I'm glad you brought that up. I've read at lexicanum that bolters were .75 caliber. With a mass reactive explosive in it, it should explode parts of orks if not torsos of smaller ones. And in the novels they make it sound like they can fire at a fair rate. I'd imagine a weapon of that size having a ponderous fire rate, but the books make it sound like it rips.

I wonder if they kept that quick time event "minigame" from the earlier alpha. (the one from the leaked video, where you beat up a CSM)

As has been brought up before, that footage was for a different version of the game by a different developer. It has absolutely nothing to do with Space Marine in its current form.

This is true, however they have capacity to fire single shot or a burst of 4 rounds

I've been looking around for more pics or video of that guy in power armor that was at the THQ booth, but haven't had much luck. That suit looked pretty awesome!
