No bits service makes this a non-starter for anyone who doesn't work in the studio.

The old bitz service was cool. I can't argue that. It was, admittedly, probably a major hassle for GW to run.

They could still showcase a lot of conversions if they're willing to extend their scope a bit.

For a tiny expansion, focus on scratch-builds with stuff from non-gaming resources. I.E. making tanks look better with stuff from the hardware store or similar. I know I always enjoyed the scenery articles from WD.

For a larger expansion, an informal 'OK' for the 'after market' conversion bits stuff could allow for a lot of articles. I.E. "Build your own IG Regiment" using those alternate heads (On Cadian bodies, so it's not as if GW isn't making money on the deal). I see this as a change that would be difficult for them to make, as some aspects of the company seem slightly hostile to the 3rd party stuff.

Articles showing ways to build the 'fringe' armies (Ad-Mech, Fallen, whatever) using existing rule sets would be nice, too.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

Drastically reduce the price.

I haven't bothered to actually purchase a WD in years. Why should I spend that much money to buy what is, for all intents and purposes, a big commercial for GW products?

Include more houserules, including new units, scenarios, and etc., kinda like the old days.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Show conversions mods and scratchbuilds. This wouldn't really affect sales of GW hobby products and would be a boon to new players.

GW would also be able to claim scratch and conversion making as part of the 'GW hobby' so, there would be plenty of upside for the company.

Gamers scenarios and house rules.

bring back Codex Astrates. Or the articles on one race that helps you convert. Into different squads. And also show case the new models by the fans.

my only quam. Make it purchasable outside of their store / GW. I would like to go to book sellers like Barnes & Noble and get my issues there.

Sounds like a few people here want a ressurection of the Citadel Journal.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.
