Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

Yes, it's very hard to test for discipline, training, tactics and support. Each of which is vastly more important than how much penetration their primary weapon has.
Thing is, if you can't test most of the factors that make a soldier effective, the answer isn't to test the small number of things you can test, the answer is not bother testing at all. In other words, don't make such a silly show, or accept the premise as completely stupid and make the thing for laughs.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Ive always been grumpy when it comes to that show because the system they have doesnt cover everything.
For example samurai vs viking.
Viking has a shield and doesnt use it to block arrows, then proceeds to throw two spears at 1 guy? Booo.
Nazi vs Navy seal, nuff said.
At this point Im waiting for Gandalf vs Optimus prime to show up in the next episode.
I was telling the GF the other day that the only way this show could be accurate is if you have two experts in their fields fight to the death with whatever weapons their trait had access to, but then it would be entertaining...

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Today I (secret guilty pleasure) got to watch Medieval Knight versus Pirate while I was left alone for a bit... when the chicks are away I get to change the channel... Why didn't they take into account that the knight sinks if he falls overboard? Besides, the pirate has TWO GUNS while the knight has... a halberd.. How the heck do you think it will end?! What a waste of a half hour. Still I did have fun eating some pizza and watching the silliness unfold. Of course the show is silly, but I don't watch Disney's Alladin to learn about middle eastern culture either.
how about: Timmy versus Jimmy... they went at it once on a south park episode. It would be fun to watch the nerd squad analyze the possible outcome of that one.

Retroactively applied infallability is its own reward. I wish I knew this years ago.
I am Red/White Take The Magic Dual Colour Test - Beta today! Created with Rum and Monkey's Personality Test Generator.I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly. |

That would be a tricky one... Jimmy's crutches have a density of 20g/ cm cubed, and so could provide a lot of force, as demonstrated by me hitting this ballistic gel head...
On the other hand, Timmy could quite possibly run Jimmy over with his wheelchair and steal the crutches...

I would inform you that I am 16 years old, and my spelling is perfectly comprehendable, whereas the spelling of many adults on this forum is completely discombobulating, leading to ambiguous statements which could easily be mis-interpreted by those of a lower intellectual capacity.
I find the condescending manner of your response infuriatingly arrogant, and as such demand that you redact your blanket statement, which needlessly applies a negative characteristic to people of my age group, with very little in the way of evidence or support.
That was a Joke by the way, if you couldn't tell from my exaggerated language.
