Swarmlord because what gets better than a horrifying alien monster with four swords that kill everything they touch? Not to mention, he never truly dies, that's pretty freaking awesome.

Urien Rakarth because he's such a twisted freak, a genius, and he's brutal and mutated. Not to mention that he regenerates so well, that he likes dying just for the experience of dying different and horrible ways. That just screams badass.

Lelith Hesperax because she single-handedly rips and maims people in the arenas and has never even been scratched. Also pretty sweet.

Kingdom Death Fanatic. Dark Eldar: Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Dark Elves: Allegiance to the Black Crown. Also, Masons, Cygnar, and Legion of Everblight. All unnamed.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

My favorite Chaos HQ has to be Azazael, a Chaos Lord who has survived a Deathstrike missile among other futile attempts to kill him, which have included- Krak missiles, Plasma Cannons, Multi-Meltas, Mind Wars, Tank Shocking, Demolisher shells, fully half of an IG army firing at him, a Starcannon...

I enjoy Lysander's fluff, being the badass out of necessity most of the time. On the table, whatever he hits tends to flail around and die, if not just become paste on the ground.

I also love the Baron in my DE army. He controlls a gang the size of a major Kabal, and makes Hellions troops choices. What's not to love?!

10'000 years ago, Terra was under siege. The Sons of Rogal Dorn stood firm at the gate, never letting an inch slip away so long as we drew breath. We were killed in droves defending the Emperor and his Imperium, and we killed many in turn. We defended the Emperor and his Imperium, and this is what it means to be a Fist

I generally stay away from special character models.
But I voted for Lysander, tough and hard to take down.

How do you forget creed?

...by listing as many HQ choices as he did, seriously one omision is pretty amazing considering. And he fixed it, though I would have another seperate choice for him and others.

Well I am going with Asdrubel Vect. Crazy smart. Ruler of his entire sub-race. Mysterious. Uses everyone to do his dirty work for him. Then add in his crazy game stats and he is a monster. Not to mention the old Dias was a crazy cool model. While I am not sure he is THE coolest or my favorite of all time but he is the flavor for now. Just started the army so gotta give some respect.

Plus In one game he killed 20 nurgle marines, 5 termies and a CSM lord in termie armor pretty much by himself. I am still in shock. It was a 1500pt game. So I am game biased as can be right now.

So you're not at all put off by the 500 point minimum cost?

That was with out the Dais in that game. At 240 he is a bargain. 4+ steal the Initiative forces opponents to always plan on going second, even if you don't steal it. Just messes with peoples minds. Puts them on the back foot right off the bat. If you get him in a good position right off the bat there is little most opponents can do to stop him messing things up for them. Hard to do but very worth it. So yeah he CAN rock the house. Tricky and not in every game but when you position him right he is just down right frighting.

Also kudos to Creeeeeeeedddddd!!!! He is only human after all.

Kharn because he's about as bad-ass as they come, and is the only CSM SC that doesn't have EW and is still effective.

Abaddon because he's A-Badd'un geddit!

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Mephiston, Eldrad, and Shrike!

Mephiston because he is 250pts of pure BAD! In a tournament I was at recently he destroyed, over the course of 3 games, over 1000pts worth of stuff. No other unit in my entire army has ever managed to do that in a single tournament. My friends all fear him and consider it "cheating" when I use him. I also have a 500pt army that consists of Mephiston and 2 5 man Assault Squads with Meltaguns and a Power Weapon and its only been beaten once by a 500pt Mech Guard army, out of the hundreds of 500pt lists I've played against. He is just Awesome!

Eldrad for obvious reasons. He is one of the best support characters plus his fluff is really awesome. I use him in conjunction either with The Avatar, Warwalkers, or alongside Rangers. No matter what I put him with it usually survives the entire game. I think his psychic powers and abilities are awesome. One of the best is if you get first turn you use his divination to move your army around and really piss off your opponent!

Shrike because of his fleeting ability. In single combat he's pretty terrible but his ability to give your whole army fleet means you can take a nasty Terminator army that your opponent won't be able to outmaneuver even if they are foot slogging.

i voted for like six. Sanguinor cus he looks awesome, Seth cus come on, who doesnt love a six foot S10 chainsword, dante because, while not practical for objectives, having a sanguinary guard army can scare the hell out of ur opponents, kantor cus sternguard can hold objectives, deathleaper becus he is basicly a lictor ON CRACK. the red terror looks cool and so does Marneus Calgar

I always liked Yriel. too bad he's not on the list.

I voted for Mephiston but not based on rules. The picture of him in the 2nd edition rule book was so awesome it may have been the last straw between me getting into the game.
