Why the heck is that such a famous post? I've seen worse. Way worse. (I'm an atheist myself, but That's still going way over the line. I just don't see why everyone remembers that post.)

That doesn't surprise me. It's become a running joke round these parts.
And... You asked for it. I warn you. No other thread is going to live up to this one, ever. I don't want to ruin the internet for you.

I especially like the part where he tells people to get raped. And that's why I love the OT section. Crazy ass people doing unwarranted actions to cause insanity. And Albatross. Most Albatross.

I read that abortion of logic and science, damn people can get angry. I do find his logic (or lack thereof) amusing: So Christians, as dumb and misguided as they are (in his eyes), must go on Holy Crusades against evil (a purely subjective position) in order to not be cowards and do so in a belief system based on folly. Ok

It was even more than that though. I could have understood the bullying thing because all three of us would call him out for being ridiculous, even if that would still have been an over the top reaction.
No, we weren't just bullies, we were all part of the jack-booted, right wing conspiracy that forever strives to keep good syndicalists down.

"Brought the OT together" is a bit mushy for my tastes really. Probably more accurate to say it turned the OT crowd into an appreciative audience or something.

No kidding. I can think of quite a few people on here that are to my left, and a fair few that are on my right (excepting social issues), but I've only once before been nominated as a member of a right wing conspiracy. And that was only because I suggested that homosexuality might not be genetic, which is about as ridiculous as whatever happened to get under G-baby's skin.
