Well mate, my fists are on the backburner for a bit, my little girl was born 4 days ago and it was a difficult pregnancy, so it's been all hands on deck.... No hobby for me for a bit!! But they are very much on my mind!!

Well Congratulations, I'm glad mother and baby are fine. Hope work aren't demanding you return soon, I am sure you can do without the stress of working there for abit. Anyway I am away again, back in JULY so I am well and truly out of the picture which is annoying because I have a 1000 things to do!

They made obscene amounts of money on LOTR when they started it. To quote the Worlds End Podcast, If I had bought GW stock before the LOTR came out I would be retired by now.

With the hobbit due for release soon expect more.

In their defense, WD has always clearly stated on the cover that it was a monthly catalogue - and that's from at least issue 190 onwards.

Actaully that wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe you should write them and see if they could start a quarterly magazine that was written by the fans and edited by GW.

I'm sure that you'd have lots of people submitting stuff and then you'd only need someone to edit and review.

Well I pay $20 for an art magazine and this is what I get:

CD with tutorials, art and hints etc. Great stuff but nothing to yell about.

EVERY-PAGE is great. Great art, information, tut's. Man, I'll pay $20 for this mag over WD any day.

Gave up WD about 14 years ago. Bought the issue on Spearhead though in 2010. Crappy issue with minimal good stuff in it.

My wife buys it for me, i just hang out for masterclasses and for terrian ideas, it has changed from the good old days. lofr stuff could be moved online or somthing, but bring back mordheim and inquisitor, remember those they are great!

i asked some the other about inquisitor he laughed '' i thought they stoped that!!''. anyway more things to encourage me to buys things need to be in there. maybe a comps.. oh wait thats what the website is for.
