i would still use the bulky bodies of orks with headswaps...maybe some flagelants...to give that dumb/mad look and so you would have bulky bodyguards on the cheap...lil greystuff work on them maybe some tabards as well and they would be good brusers for an inquisitor...

by the way... a bump in my steamy thread would be nice^^

pig iron militia heads + scout bodies (with shotguns) = inquisitorial henchmen/retinue.

Vik: you got bumped. And yeah, Orks may make good vat muscled up-grade bodyguards, with human heads, but they still look odd at the hips and legs section.

Shrike: Yep, they would look like privately raised militia for the Inquisitor.

It is a independent hobby store, I work as pothers are battling or doing their own work. The Nids were fighting Blood Angels (Guy in red shirt is Blood Angel/Red Cron player)

well that is nice to have a club near your place...i am not motorized and the next best thing would be a lousy shop where they put their noses high for 40k... only warmachine stuff happening... and the GW shop thats next to me is about a 3/4 hour worth of public traffic...i dont have to draw here a pic as to how i ever gonna get the airship (may god provide speed of its completion) to that store...

have you thought something special for his base? and likewise to orlov? well him he could do with a regular footsloggerbase but mikhail could do with something more top nothy i guess...did you use superglue or what to fix him on his base? could you pry him off of it?

Yeah, Our local store is a 10minute walk down the road fro me. I put boxes in a duffel bag, or for some armies, I have a carrier case.

Orlov has a muddy base already so he is based.

Yep, Mikhail may get a more scenic basing done for him as he is a metal mini and I used super-glue for him, I can easily put him on another base with some sort of "scenery" ^^

by the way... did you paint that inquisition "I" on his shield already? looks in the pic mightyly plastic for me...(as in grey)

now the tricky part...how will you paint it as the shield is already golden...ummm tough nut...you could go silver...or you could do it purple as the small piece of tabard mikhail already has so to better tie in the shield to his own scheme...would look very food i suppose...

Well, with Storm shields I normally attempt to make some sort of "electrical" paint scheme to indicate it is lit up and active.

ohhhh... this sounds promising... electric discharges on the surface...hmmm still time to do some small surface work with greystuff? to create a not so even surface? you could do some really small line on the "I" then and after that then you pant the lightnings with a relief to support the style...

Well, actually, I was going to use different shades of lightblue to white for the "lightning" effect.^^

yeah i know that way... but i saw once how someone here made lightningbolts with GS... and a paperclip parts for support... looked realy stunning... was an cinematic effect for a libby...

I tend to pack and travel my armies. It could always be needing repairs if it had fiddly bits to break off.

I have some models which NEVER break, and some that break every time I pick them up (it seems).

its always the quiet ones that crack first...

gw recently relased in these parts an upgraded talking version of their kits... it is a bit unnerving to open a box of screaming like hell cadians but once you have completly put them together it is quite a nice talk once in a while with some of them... although those stupid sarges can only yell so it seems...

DKoK- silent.
raven guard- stealthy and swimble (it's a word we use in my backstage crew class, meaning swift and nimble).

the only ones talking would be my conversions, lysander, libby, and SL.
