The fleet doesn't usually need to fire, I mean lets say daemons infest that world and Tzeench's Flamers are present. But usually attacking some fomr of advamced planet there's going to be fire some where


usually not enough to spark an entire planet wide firestorm.


Only takes one match to start a forest fire, why would a man-sized flame (with practically endless fuel) not be able to light up a planet?

it requires the right fuel to air ratio. existing fires will likely not be in the right place.

the fleet can actually take several hours to find the proper location to fire the lance strike that will ignite all the gas.
