Well, just got an email to Borders Rewards members. Looks like liquidation sales begin Friday, the 22nd.

This is sad. I'm a quick walk from my Borders, and I always liked the store, whether it was buying Horus Heresy books from them, or sitting in one of their leather chairs (wonder if they're selling them... hm) and grabbing an Osprey book to kill time with.

I'll definitely be buying everything I can. I'm sure I've got a few Gift Cards laying about.

Without the Wireless on, the Kindle has lasted me 3 weeks before I charged it again, and I didn't actually need to charge it yet.

This really makes me sad. I loved borders. I would always get my books there and if I ever wasn't sure on a book I'd sit there and read for a bit before purchasing it. Its sad to see Borders go.

time to go get some books while they are on sale!
